The Kilominx is a dodecahedron-shaped twisty puzzle. It was invented in 2008 by David Litwin. The Kilominx is the 2x2x2 variation of the Megaminx, and as such, it is constructed of 20 corner pieces but without any edge pieces (similar to the Pocket Cube being a corner only Rubik's Cube). In 2009, this puzzle was mass-produced by Meffert's under the name "Flowerminx", and it had a flower-shaped cutout on each of its faces. Another famous shape-mod of this puzzle is the "Impossiball", which was invented by William O. Gustafson in 1981 who later sold the patent rights to Meffert's.

Despite its smaller footprint, the Kilominx still has a lot of possible combinations, almost 23.6 septillion to be exact. The puzzle, however, is not too difficult to solve and many of the algorithms for solving the Rubik's Cube and the Pocket Cube also apply to the Kilominx.

The Kilominx is not an official WCA puzzle. The unofficial record for the fastest solve is 9.17 seconds, set by Jared Stinson of the United States.

Most of it you can do intituatively The last layer takes a beginners method algorithm for OLL and a Jb perm for PLL

I solved 6 sides. It's a bit easier to preserve sides because since it is a dodecahedron, there are more axis of freedom
